ASPHALT VS. GRAVEL
Though an asphalt driveway may cost more initially, it is an investment that will save you both time and frustration. Gravel driveways usually require annual raking and repair of potholes after each winter of snowfalls and plowings. However, asphalt is much more durable and requires little maintenance from year to year. Occasionally cracks and potholes will need to be repaired, but this is required much less often than in gravel driveways.
